There is a regulation governing the maximum UV output of sunbeds. This is generally referred to as 0.3 technology and is approved by the EU and complies with all British and European consumer safety regulations. A 0.3 tanning session delivers the same tanning effect as the mid-day Mediterranean summer sun but without the risk of burning.
The new latest technology 0.3 compliant sunbeds work more effectively and produce a wonderful, deeper and longer lasting tan. The tanning process is kinder to your skin and the risk of over-exposure or burning is effectively eliminated.

Canopy Sunbeds
The canopy sunbed is fitted with 9 of the latest technology 0.3 compliant RUVA fast tanning sunbed tubes and 6 facial booster lamps. The canopy sunbed is normally used over a single or double bed. The canopy sunbed is a one sided tanning unit so you would normally lie on a bed, set the timer and tan the front of your body and then repeat on the back of your body. The canopy sunbed is fitted with electronic safety timers to ensure that the sunbed will switch off automatically if you fall asleep! The advantage of the canopy sunbed is that it can be folded away and stored upright when not in use. This saves space and is very handy when someone is using the bed on a night. The canopy sunbed is supplied with a complete with 4 castor wheels which makes moving the sunbed very easy. The stand also combines a hydraulic lift to enable height adjustments to ensure an optimal distance from your body when tanning. The canopy sunbed is also fitted with an acrylic cover to protect your body from contact with the sunbed tubes and twin cooling fans to ensure a comfortable breeze whilst tanning. Double Sunbeds
The double sunbeds are fitted with 19 of the latest technology 0.3 compliant RUVA fast tanning sunbed tubes (9 tubes on the base unit and 10 tubes on the canopy section). A double sunbed is one that you lie down flat inside to obtain a tan. The double sunbed consists of two parts – a bottom section (the bit that you lie on) and a top section that pulls down over the top of your body. The top section is on a hydraulic mechanism that allows the top section to be opened for you to slide onto the bottom section and then lowered once you are in position. The main benefit of a double sunbed is that the sunbed tans both sides of your body at the same time. The double sunbed is also fitted with an acrylic cover to the base section protect your body from contact with the sunbed tubes and twin cooling fans to ensure a comfortable breeze whilst tanning. Each double sunbed is ergonomically curved to ensure an even all over body tan. Each double sunbed hire unit has dual safety timers to ensure you do not exceed the maximum tanning exposure times. The double sunbeds are often preferred by older customers who like to lie down and relax when tanning at home. The double sunbeds require approximately the same space as a small single bed (approximately 6 feet x 3 feet). A vertical sunbed as the name suggests is a tanning sunbed that you simply go inside and stand up to have the tanning session. The vertical sunbeds have an entrance door which is closed once you are inside. The main benefit of a vertical sunbed is that you get a more even total surround body tan. The sunbed tubes inside the booth have special reflectors which direct the ultra violet tanning rays 360 degrees around your body. Each vertical sunbed has dual safety timers to ensure you do not exceed the recommended vertical sunbed hire exposure times. The vertical sunbed is designed to maximize full body coverage and produce outstanding results from the close proximity tanning. Each vertical sunbed hire unit come complete with an all-round guard protection and powerful full length body breeze cooling fans. Another benefit of the vertical sunbeds is that they only require a very small area, This ensures that only a minimal space inside your home is required to comfortable use the sunbed.
